Co-Education

                                          Co-Education

Co-education is the one of the system of education in which both boys and girls together achieve education in the same education institutions during the equal there interval, within the same  course and same curriculum. In this present world, there is no discrimination between boys and girls in education. In context to Nepal, we have majority of such co-education institutes. There are finger-counted female institutes in Nepal that were opened for the especial views in the past but the present context is far different than the past.

In the past, co-education system was strongly criticized because of traditional educationists. It was there mis-conception. Now days the traditional educationists claim that co-education decrease the degree of discipline of the co-learners. Co-education can promote the degrees of love and fashion among learners.

Co-education promotes all sorts of understanding between the learners through the sense of mass education. The course and the lessons are the same in which they find everything the curriculum covers. In Nepal this kind of course is in application. Co-education strengthens the sense of friendship, intimacy, equality, and co-operation among the learners. They can build up feeling of competition in learning and in doing other creative activities. Co-education system provides equal opportunity to do everything, to learn everything and to practice everything to all the learners. Co-education system generally begins from family. A child is grown up in the family and a family never consists of only female or male alone.
